Your contribution holds the power to shape the future of piercing. By donating to the Piercers of Color Scholarship, you're not just giving; you're investing in a community where diversity flourishes, talent blossoms, and dreams take flight.
This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to 10 industry professionals to attend the annual APP conference in Las Vegas, NV including lodging, a food stipend and a community building activity.

✨ Full conference pass + closing party $550 x 5 = $2,750
(The APP has donated 5 passes)
✨ 5 rooms (2 scholars per room) @ $1,000 week = $5,000
✨ $250 Travel Stipend x 10 = $2,500
✨ $200 Food Stipend x 10 = $2,000
✨ Group dinner food cost = $400

Are you an industry professional in need of financial assistance to attend the APP Conference & Expo in Las Vegas? This event is the largest US based educational event that includes a week of learning, networking and building community with our domestic and international peers.

Eligibility:
✨ You must be 21+
✨ You must be a person of color
✨ This must be your 1st conference (If you have only attended one conference, that was not this previous year, you may apply)
✨ You must be working as a counter specialist, piercer or be an apprentice who is currently employed in a studio.
✨ You must provide 1 letter of recommendation from another professional in the piercing industry (Shop owners, piercers, mentors, former co-workers)
✨ You must make your own travel arrangements to & from the conference. Recipients will receive partial flight assistance
✨ Your application MUST be submitted in English to be considered
✨ International Applicants: You must provide confirmation that you have a VISA or other necessary traveling documents along with your application OR be able to obtain a VISA by March 22nd.
